Welcome Welcome to the policies section of our website.
Here you will find all the information on the business end of things, important of course, but not exactly stimulating reading. Things are broken down into sections so you should be able to go to the section you want and find the information you need quickly. If you need more information on anything, don't hesitate to e-mail us!
 
PAYMENTS: At this time, we only accept payment through PayPal. And here's why! You select an item you wish to purchase. You click on "Pay with PayPal" as you finalize your order, transfer to the PayPal site and pay for your purchase. PayPal handles all the credit cards, e-checks and currency exchanges and credits our account with the correct amount for the transaction. They send us a notification confirming your payment. We bring up the transaction on PayPal and PayPal allows us to figure shipping (thru USPS), pay the postage, print a shipping label and arrange for a mail pickup at our door. Easy and fast for both buyer and seller!

Since we only accept PayPal payments, payment is expected within 24 hours of the purchase order, so be sure you follow through and click on the "Pay with PayPal" button at the end of the purchase order! Your order is not complete until you do. E-checks sent to PayPal will take 3 or 4 days to clear and we will start working on your order as soon as PayPal notifies us that the e-check has cleared. Please make sure the name and address on your order matches the name and address on PayPal. If they don't, please explain why or fix the problem since it will pop up every time you order something on line. It is for your own protection and mine, so I will question mismatched information!

SALES TAX: Wisconsin Residents will be charged a 5% Sales Tax with their purchase.

SHIPPING: Welcome to the nightmare that is shipping!
Products generally ship in 2-4 weeks. We ship via US Postal Service priority mail. Larger orders may take longer.OK, here is what we do to try and bring you the lowest price and the best service. In the USA we use USPS (United States Postal Service) because we can get pickup at the mailbox or door trip to the nearest Post Office. (We don't have the volume in large boxes to have UPS, Fed Ex, etc. stop by.) We can pay for postage, print shipping labels and packing slips on line through PayPal as the orders come in. This allows us to process your order get it in the mail and on its way to you

We carry a large variety of items on our website that come in all shapes and sizes. Keeping a large supply of boxes in all sizes is a storage nightmare. USPS carries a good range of box sizes that they will send us free of charge, folded flat. The drawback is they are for Priority Mail only! Most of the time we ship priority mail We also purchase boxes if we need a certain size for an item. A padded envelope or small parcel weighing under 13 oz. can be shipped first class mail anywhere in the USA for the same by the ounce fee. So we do, usually. The exceptions are light weight things that fit just right in those lovely little Priority Mail boxes that the Post Office furnishes! When the weight is over 13 oz., we ship Priority Mail.


DELIVERY CONFIRMATION:
We include Delivery Confirmation on all orders.

PACKING MATERIALS: We use padded envelopes, usually bubble wrap, for flat things like puzzles. We use USPS Priority Mail boxes which are made of recycled materials and we scrounge used boxes from local stores. For inside cushioning we use newspaper, previously used packing peanuts, bubble wrap (some new, some used). LOCAL PICKUP: If you live close by and want to pick up your items, that's fine with us. Just let us know. Since we live out in the country, a meeting in Fond-du-lac could be arranged on our day in town if you prefer. We won't deliver to your door, but we don't mind meeting you someplace we are going anyway!

GIFT SHIPPING: We will ship to a "Giftee's" address if explanations are made and instructions are clear as to where the item is to be shipped.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Yes, we do ship worldwide. Everything should be calculated once you go through checkout and put in all your shipping information. Please make sure the shipping address is correct.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGS: Please make sure you actually want the item before you make your purchase order! If you have doubts or questions about an item, contact us before ordering. Refunds and exchanges are costly in time and money for all concerned. But, if you must, you must, so here are the policies regarding it. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were sent, in the same box or envelope if possible and with the same care in packaging. Contact us immediately if you intend to return something. Our handcrafted wooden toys will provide a lifetime of fun. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item and receipt within 10 days in the original packaging for a refund. Shipping charges are not refundable. If you just change your mind and want to return an item, we will refund the price of the item. You pay the shipping to return the item by the same method of shipment. After we receive the item, we will refund you through PayPal only. If an item was damaged in transit, please notify us and the Post Office. If the item was insured, we will deal with it from here. If the item was not insured, we will work with you to make it right.

CUSTOM ORDERS:
  1. Please make sure all names that go on Puzzles, Stools, Name Trains etc...are spelled correctly
  2. Please be sure to pick the correct color that you would like.

GIFT WRAPPING: At this time we are not offering gift wrapping. We will send an item to a "gift address" and include a note saying who it is from, but not wrapping.
